| Woody's Sporting Dogs was started in 2000 by Shannon Wood and his wife Tiffany. Shannon's parents have raised Labrador retrievers for over 20 years, so dogs have always been a big part of his life. Shannon, however, was more drawn to the training aspect of the business than the breeding. To further his God given talent, Shannon attended dog training seminars given by Mike Stewart of Wildrose Kennels in Mississippi and trained with great professionals such as Lyle Steinman and Clint Johnson. Shannon is a full time trainer and his wife Tiffany is a staffing coordinator at Bethesda Care Center in their home town. They have three future trainers, Caleb (7 years) and Cayden (3 years), and Aubree (2months). They all enjoy spending their time in the outdoors. |
